I want nothing more than for you to be successful in this class. I promise to be the kind of teacher I would want for my own son. In turn, I want you to do your personal best and be an active participant in your own learning. We will review classroom expectations (quickly, as all of you were my students for the Spanish I-A class). Then, we will begin chapter 4. This class will cover material in your textbook, from chapters 4-7. I am excited to begin the new trimester and I hope you are as well. Please check this website if you are absent. It will give you all of the information you need to get caught up with your classmates. Further, if you know you're going on a long vacation, updates can be obtained from this weebly site so that you know exactly what we're doing during your absence. 20 de marzo: Review worksheets from yesterday will be graded today. Further, we will begin chapter 4 vocabulary in class. There will be a chapter 4 verb quiz on Wednesday of next week (March 27th). The quiz format will be reviewed today in class so that students know exactly what is expected of them. Finally, we will use chapter 4 verbs to practice answering quesstions correctly in Spanish. There will be a practice worksheet for homework tonight. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete. If you were absent yesterday, the worksheet you need to make up is in our absent work tray with your name on it.

However, it is essential to complete the assignment by tomorrow at the beginning of class as we will be using that homework assignment to do a speaking activity in class tomorrow (which will also be graded). If students fail to complete the assignment on time, the result would be a zero on both assignments.

There is no written homework assignment for the weekend. However, student should review their chapter 4 vocabulary sheet over the weekend and begin preparing for Wednesday's quiz.

There will not be any written homework over the coming weekend. Students should take note, however, that this Friday, May 3 is the last day of the 5th marking period. Please check power school and/or have your parents check to review your progress not only in Spanish class, but also in all of your classes.

We will be interviewing a classmate about their family, house/apartment, and what they are going to & have to do. There will be a short worksheet for homework due to the shortened schedule today.

Note: in order to receive credit for this assignment, you must get at least 75% of the answers correct).
